Title – Delivering on skills for growth and jobs

Aim – The call for proposal was launched by European Commission within PROGRESS, the European programme for employment and social solidarity, and aims to encourage new forms of collaboration through partnerships between public and private actors in the labor market, to address persistent skills shortages and mismatches and to help fill the gap between labor supply and demand in the EU.

In line with the priority areas for job creation the call consists of four strands, which seek to:
• foster joint initiatives aimed at anticipating green skills needs for green jobs and supporting structural and sectorial adaption, with the sector focus on construction, recycling and  the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning
• identify effective implementation measures, good practices and innovative approaches with a special emphasis on the employment potential of ITCs and Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs
• identify effective implementation measures, good practices and innovative approaches with a special emphasis on personal and household services
• support the consolidation of European sector skills councils that are beyond the feasibility phase
The main objective will be to deliver specific employment services leading to sustainable placements in jobs and apprenticeships, to support labor mobility at national and European level, to provide analytical and specific evidence related to the form and working method of the partnership between organizations and to develop a concrete labor market intelligence tools.
The total indicative amount available is EUR 5.658.000. The European Commission may finance up to 80 % of the total eligible costs of the action. The maximum grant depends on the strand and varies between EUR 250 000 and EUR 900 000 according to the strand. The maximum project duration is 18 months.

Eligible applicants – Applicants must be legal person properly constituted and registered in one of the EU Member States or other PROGRESS participating countries. Applicants must fall within one of the following categories: social partners, public authorities, international organizations, non-profit making organizations, profit-making organizations, research centres, institutes and universities and civil society organizations.
